I have always used cotton scrunchies but read that for my type of hair it would be beneficial to use a smoother fabric. These scrunchies are very good value for money and the satin fabric is very smooth and soft. They hold my hair in place even when sleeping and do indeed stop frizzing around the area that is tied back. The elastic appears to be of good quality as springs back into shape and the stitching has stayed in tact. After many uses they have not stretched which is a problem with many scrunchies that I have used. Overall very happy and would order again but expect that I will wash and reuse these for quite some time.

I purchased these scrunchies a few years back now and still use them every day. The elastic lasts so well and they are much more comfortable to hold my hair in a ponytail compared to regular hairbands and have the added benefit of being better for my hair and prevent breakage.

I absolutely love these! They just came in the mail. After seeing mixed reviews on their size and functionality I immediately tried them on. They fit perfect and are sooooo cute. I love that they’re oversized and pillowy. I wrapped it twice. Once to pull all my hair through and once through the lengths into a “pineapple”. It’s not too tight or loose. My hair is medium density. Not very thick or very thin. If I was forced to choose one I would consider it thin vs thick though. It is past my shoulders nearing the top of my shoulder blades so not very long either. I was looking for something that wouldn’t tug or pull but also hold my wave pattern (2A/2B). I will update on my next day hair after giving these a proper wash and wearing over night. So far I am very pleased with how they feel in my hair and how they feel in general. Very smooth and pillowy and superrr cute! Update: the hair that stayed in the scrunchie stayed smooth and held shape. My hair isn’t very long and I sleep crazy so the bottom hairs that fell out didn’t get the benefits. Once my hair is long enough to stay in a pineapple overnight, this scrunchie will work perfectly! Very happy with my purchase and so glad I have two!
