The quoits set arrived promptly and in a lovely presentation box. Sadly the box was a little damaged but the set inside was in perfect condition. It would make a lovely gift for someone. We were prompted to purchase this outdoor game because of our regular visits to English Heritage and National Trust sites where there is always a game of quoits set up for visitors to enjoy. It’s a simple game that appeals to all ages. I love the vintage look of the set. It fits together easily and is a solid, steady structure. The rope quoits are firm and if they get out of shape you can just push them back into a circle. Would have liked another set with a different coloured wooden grip on them. The only negative for this set is that it doesn’t come with a storage bag like the other quoits set produced by Jaques . I’ve read the reviews from others who mention utilising the presentation box for storing the set but as our box was damaged on delivery I doubt it would have lasted as a long term storage option. It’s a fun family game and we’ve already had some great laughs with it. Highly recommended as a great outdoor game or if you have space indoors to play it.

I had a major stroke last year so am trying to brighten my daily physio rehab in any way I can.as usual with Jacques everything was beautifully packaged and presented and the build quality of this set is gorgeous. I shall be using it in the kitchen for years to come and I know it will last. I have yet to land a quoit on a prg but that's me at fault, notvthe set. I thought about buying thr larger set but found it visually confusing. I thinkthe word compact in the description gives the game away concerning its size, it is small but ideal for my purpose, I will investigate whether one can buy more quoits but it might be simpler just to buy another set.whilevits on offer.

I bought this for a bit of fun over Christmas and it didn't disappoint. It looks lovely as it's entirely made of wood. My one gripe however is that when trying to screw it together, I had to cut away some of the glue/wood myself when trying to screw in the middle pole to make it fit. It seemed like the hole was drilled slightly too small for the pole which is a shame as the packaging, presentation and idea is beautiful. It looks like a high quality, classy garden game, but the mismatched sizes let it down for me.

All the family love playing this game, adults and children alike. It is well made, came with clear instructions and is an attractive addition to the garden. It’s not cheap but I reckon it’s worth paying a bit more to have something appealing and not plastic. I’m sure it will be around for many years.

Promptly delivered, well packaged. This is a beautifully crafted traditional game. The quality is higher than we expected. Absolutely delighted with this and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to partake in Quoits. Our family of all ages absolutely enjoyed playing and will do for many years we suspect. In time it will also biodegrade too (like us!). It's good to know that not everything is just 'thrown together' and made of harmful plastics in this wasteful world. Thank you!

On a positive note this es a very well made and beautifully presented set, my disappointment was that the set is not as large as I thought it would be. Having played with something similar in Australia I was expecting something that was probably twice the size of what actually arrived. This would be perfect for children to play with.

Habe es mir zum Geburtstag (Ü40) schenken lassen. Ich hatte mich an meine Kindheit erinnert und wollte etwas aus nicht Plastik, wo ich diese Erinnerungen auffrischen kann. Und was soll ich sagen, Abends an der Geburtstagsfeier sagt meine 14 jährige Tochter, komm wir probieren es kurz aus. Das haben wir dann auch ausführlich gemacht, irgendwann waren alle vertreten von 3 Jahren bis Mitte 40 Jahren und wir hatten alle viel Spaß. Fazit: Schön aunzuschauen, Naturmaterialien, viel Spaß, ... also es war ne gute Idee!!!

J’ai acheté ce jeu pour la garden party de mon mariage. Le principe est assez simple, le jeu est plutôt beau et à un style vintage. En revanche pour le montage, les trous et embout à vis n’étaient pas bien fait et de travers. J’en reste tout de même satisfaite car j’ai réussi à l’aide d’outil à arranger les choses. Un peu cher pour la qualité des finitions...
