I have read so many times that magnesium is good for aching muscles, with this bubble bath you not only get the health benefits of the magnesium but the fragrance of rose Jasmine and vanilla , three of my favourites. It didn’t take long to create lots of bubbles and a luscious aroma. Very very luxurious ! From the outer packaging to the scent then the bubbles! Would make a wonderful gift! This comes in a lovely bright hot pink/red embossed box with one tiny minus point, that being the very small writing on the side of the box. So tiny I used my magnifying app on my phone to read it. The bottle itself is nicely presented with a bow and cute charm round its neck. My wife did find that you do need to make sure you use it under running water as it is very thick cream. That said, the suggested amount of two capfuls is more than enough and this means it will last you a long time! It does seem a little pricey for a bubble bath, but as mentioned in quite a few reviews I’ve read this is worth it for its longevity and quality. My wife certainly thinks so and she said she would give it five out of five stars.

The presentation was classy. The bottle came in a matching hot-pink box, with subtle and elaborate embossed-style designs on it. You might not notice these at first, but they reward closer inspection, because you can see nature-inspired designs reminiscent of William Morris, and an owl appearing to spread its wings over the box. The bottle is tough plastic, but visually, could pass for glass or ceramic. It comes complete with a bow around the neck, a tag with the product name (in French!) and a small metal charm/brand logo, which was tissue-wrapped, causing me to wonder what the attached bit of paper was, but unwrapping it to find the charm. The bottle has a screw-cap, but underneath had a stopper to protect against leakage. The bubble bath is a thick, white cream, smelling very strongly of roses. I'm not sure I'm getting the jasmine or vanilla so much, but it's lovely anyway. A little goes a long way. I only needed the manufacturer's suggested two caps full to make a good amount of bubbles and fragrance in a regular bath. The potion (it's actually called that!) is so thick that it formed some strands in the water, so you'll really want to give it a good swoosh as the bath is filling, to make sure it fully dissolves. The foam was quite long-lasting, and didn't start bursting the moment I stepped in leaving me with no bubbles. There are a few minor weaknesses that I didn't find sufficiently serious to dock a star: - The product info on the box is very tiny for us older folk. I literally needed a magnifying glass. - The stopper (under the cap) was tricky to get out of the bottle. I used tweezers eventually. - The concentration of magnesium sulphate (also known as Epsom salts) is very unlikely to have any value for the treatment of aches and pains. I do use Epsom salts for this, but the normal dose for a regular bath is six or seven LARGE scoops. If it's already diluted in a bubble bath, and then you add just two capfuls to a whole bath, I can't see how it can possibly have the same effect.

The bubble bath is beautifully presented, in a pink box, (which has instructions printed on the back). Inside the box is a pink bottle (plastic, not glass, so safe in the bathroom) who’s is decorated with a bow and a charm. After unscrewing the lid, you will need to remove a tight fitting plug-I slid a thin bladed knife under it to aid removal. I liked the scent of this bubble bath, it wasn’t overpowering, and it produced lots of bubbles which were still there after half an hour. My skin felt soft after my bath, and my joint and muscle aches and pains, though not completely gone were definitely easier. The only downside was the instructions on the box, which tell you to ‘rinse’, and also to ‘avoid contact with sensitive areas’. That’s tricky in a bath! Neither of these factors would put me off using this again, it’s lovely.

This bubble bath is expensive at £19.99 for 250mls, however you do get a luxury product. It arrives beautifully packaged in a nice pink box and would make a really nice gift. You really don't need very much to make lots of beautifully scented bubbles, which smelt really nice although it was heavier on the rose side than the jasmine and vanilla. The bubbles lasted a long time and after a good long soak were still there and left my skin feeling very soft and the scent lingering on my body.
